EFR – the European Federation for Colorectal Cancer – is committed to realising the following goals and aims:
- Creating inter-disciplinarity platforms to exchange scientific knowledge
- Promoting international co-operation between the EFR and existing national organisations and cancer societies
- Designing and co-ordinating multinational trials
- Attaining more uniform standards in patient care within Europeand identifying guidelines for screening, diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer
