Art 4 Health 2006: Calendar Presentation in Vienna, Gloriette

Words and pictures as conveyors of strength and confidence. The common European language of art united in the first EFR Calendar with paintings from artists and people affected.
A special kind of charity event was organised by the EFR (European Federation for ColoRectal Cancer) in the glamorous setting of Schönbrunn Palace’s Gloriette.

EFR President Bèla Teleky presented the first EFR Calendar in this festive atmosphere. After that, Secretary General Irene Kührer spoke about the background of the event.
 
Words of strength and confidence, offered by Maresa Hörbiger, and a picture auction in aid of Dr. G. Sporschill’s charity project  "Ein Leben für Hoffnungskinder" were the highlights of the event, which was hosted by Claudia Stöckl.
 
A performance by the Austrian band Betty Blue and a painting exhibition of artist Albert Hoffmann’s “Streifzüge durch Europa” rounded off the evening’s social programme.
