European Surgery

European Surgery - Acta Chirurgica Austriaca is the official journal of the EFR – European Federation of coloRectal Cancer .The journal is dedicated to all colleagues interested in original articles, reviews, case reports, short communications on current developments in surgical practice and research. The main focus of the journal is general surgery, endocrine surgery, thoracic surgery, plastic surgery, heart and vascular surgery, and traumatology. Special editorial features include "new surgical techniques" (minimally invasive surgery, robot surgery) and "advances in biotechnology related to surgery" (equipment, interdisciplinary perioperative management, surgical oncology).

European Surgery publishes original research articles, case reports, reviews, and short communications in English on current developments in surgical practice and research. It is also the organ of the International Meetings of the EFR and will publish the consensus statements of its congresses.
